Spring Cleaning............

It's the time of the year again.....CNY is just around the corner....It's time to overhaul the entire house....Eventhough we're not home during CNY, we would like to just enjoy the mood.....what I really mean here is, the rest of the family would like to enjoy the mood while I'm cleaning everything........

This year I have KitKit as the 2nd man....although he did not helped much, but it's still better than no help at all.....at least he took down the curtains and sent them for cleaning......

* I then perform the 'dusting'.......mind the mask on my face....I'm allegic to dust.....seriously....I could get instant flu and it takes days to recover....hehehe

* Then I cleaned the aircons' filters......3 aircons all together........

* After that I attacked the fans........The ventilation fan in the kitchen was the worst....with the grease and dust combined....I resorted to my combo killer move to get them done.......PW was good enough to help out with the one in the room....The one that actually needs no cleaning......hahahaha

* By the time I was done with the one mentioned above, it was already 2pm.....I then vacuum the floor......

* When the entire gang was having their beautiful afternoon nap, I chose to mop the floor....don't wanna wake them up with my self-inflicted noise pollution........

* Ahhhhh....without their cries and running and yelling, I had my moment of peace ironing the clothes.......all of a sudden I felt like an Indonesian maid minus the saggy boobs and messy hair.......PW eventually wanted me to cook lunch the next day....Hell no.... I need a few hours break tomorrow for GOLF....hahahaha

* That evening, I took the gang to our weekly stroll @ Queensbay Mall.......I transformed myself from being the Maid in Seberang Jaya to The Nanny......that basically sums up my eventful Saturday.....5-6 hours of cleaning and ironing....another 4 hours of babysitting and window shopping.......CNY coming real soon...can't wait.......yahooooooooooooooo

Better late than never......2011 records my lowest posting since 2005.....I guess you guys would know the reason to that.

I'm still learning and adapting to my new role in the family for the past 2 years.......a father to 2 boys or as I would like to call them monsters.....

However, the tradition should go on....here comes the resolutions.......

1. Try to get a bigger house - DONE......although I'm not financially sound to start the renovation and move to my new house at the moment, I still get to view the rear of the house every single day when I park my car.

* I'm now a landlord aka Pau Chou Kung.....hehehe

2. Submit my thesis on time and attend the convocation - DONE......but the convocation was not as great as the first one.....you'll get what I mean if you've attended 2.....hahahaha LanSi leh.....

* Only Papa & Mama attended my Convocation....the rests were resting at home because we've got to attend to KitKit's session the following day........

3. Try to stick with the same job. (At least for another year) - DONE......I'm in my 24th month in Samsung....work has been great here...however I'm getting kinda bored with the repetitive routine......I used to admire those working in MNC when I was in my previous job.....and now I know why....hahahaha

* The gang attended the Annual Dinner for the 2nd time already.........

4. Provide the best for Jr. No.2 - DONE........hopefully I've provided enough. In terms of attention, I think JS did not get as much as JD did because now it's all 50 50.....PW and I have an agreement where she'll handle JS will I do JD.....as time goes by I'll to be as balance as possible.....

* I am not kidding when I tell you I think JS is really good looking.......big round eyes, dark eyebrow....dimples.....ohhhh......handsome handsome....

5. Get myself an investment portfolio - DONE.....well nothing to shout about, but with my current commitments, I would like to get things done 1 by 1.....Papa said the best thing in life would be compound-interest.....I would prefer to get my family livelihood settled before indulging in more investment.....

6. Try to get a new bike (personal favourite) - DONE....hahahaha however I plan to sell it this year.....I just could not find the time to ride it....hahahaha greedy greedy....

Well, these will most probably wrap up my year and my wish-list....let's see how much could I achieve by year end........have a great year ahead peps....and let's hope the world will not end by 21st December 2012 as stated by the Mayans....finger cross.....hahahahaha

JD's Loses His Pony Tail.........

At last....I've succummed to all the surrounding pressures.........Why so long? Why didn't cut it? Ain't that too hot for him? He looks like a girl......

We've decided to take JD for a hair cut.....I would recon Papa & his babysitters would be the happiest of the bunch.....hehehe

Unliked his lil brother, JD hates hair cut......he has not grown up to be accustomed to monthly hair cut....he just loves his pony tail and long locks......This is the first time we're cutting his pony tail since erg.......hmmmmm.....well we've not touch that area ever........

* We had to bribe him with sweets just to sit still........

* I will have to constantly wipe those hair from his face....he hates having hair all over.....kept on yelling ekkk ekkkkk (known for disgusting stuff)......

* BEFORE THE CUT................we planned to shorten his hair by 4 inches.......

JS hasn't really had a real haircut before.......due to his heaty condition, we've decided to take him for his first official hair cut.......not knowing how he would look like after that.....hehe

My current update frequency is at it's worst ever rate......too many commitments.......kids fell sick one after another.....OMG OMG OMG......

Before I get the chance to brag about my 2nd convocation, let's go through some intervals on recent pictures taken with my older boy........

My silly cousin aka Chairman Sim proposed for a short ride around Penang island......I agreed only if it's between 2-4pm...when my boys are taking their afternoon nap.....I can't even find time to nap in the afternoon lately....normally while they're sleeping, I will iron the shirts or do some other chores at home........

* Cousin Sim anxiously waiting for his coconut....I'd rather call him the Thai King due to his frequent visits across the border......

I have not been particularly busy....somehow I just can't find the time to blog...I believe spending time with the kids will help to build their characters.....therefore I did......so, let me do a quick run through on the happenings lately........

1. My House.....

* At last after 6 months....every documentations have been filed and done......I'm officially a landlord......Don't get me wrong...I would've loved to move there but I just don't think now is the right time to proceed with the renovation project.......I don't have that kinda money anyway.......

2. False Alarm

* And we thought we're expecting yet another baby......mind me as the last 2 tests came out positive.........JD will be 2 this month....JS hardly 4 months old......our first negative sign with the pregnancy kit.....not all bad after all....hehehehe

3. My Bike.....

* Since Dean commented on the similarities between the current and the old gears....let me clarify.........

* The helmet and gloves are different.....the bike is obviously different....shoes are different too.....not to mention I've got knee pad with this new bike.......well the only similarities are the shirt and jeans.....bikes are of the same category just different manufacturer....still Italian yo....hehehe

4. My Golf.....

* I've been pretty indulged in golf lately.......a game more I think PW is going to explode....hehehe however, practice makes perfect...my game has indeed improved........

5. Family........

* I know I know......St. Anne's was a month too long........but I just can't blog solely on this short trip right???? hehehe have to get a slot to fill.......

* To my cousins whom are waiting for this picture......Thou shall be awarded if you check out my blog....hahaha

6. Food.......

* Went to Balik Pulau last weekend for my favourite CharKoeyTeow.......BEST IN THE WORLD......I kid you not....this plate of awesome-ness would blow the Sister's CharKoeyTeow to Holland.....seriously.......

7. My Kids.......

* At last I bought JD his first golf set....can't get him the real stuff because those clubs are longer than him.....got him the plastic one first....check out the swing yo.....hehehe but I'm determined to enroll him in tennis class....hahaha......that wraps up my post......have a good week ahead people........hehehe I know I would......

Family Outing @ Taiping Zoo.......

After months of reading and training, we've decided to take the boys to the zoo.....JD could experience his first pratical training in animals....hahahaha.....

* The boys just awake from their beauty sleep......we start the journey at 730am......

* JS as excited as ever....I doubt he has any idea what was going on that day.........

* JD being his usual self.......happy sunshine boy....hehehe

* PW still half awake..........posing with the boys.......

* One of JD's favourite.......LIONS.....too bad the lion died and left lioness there....I swear the zoo was playing audio playback of the lion's roar everytime the mini train passes.......

* I was so freaking tired that day.....and I got to work the follow day too....month end closing ar..........

* All worth it...........

* My boys were so coorperative that day........laugher and smiles are priceless......if that's the price I got to pay for them to be happy, let be it....hehehe lack of sleep is not an issue......have a great week ahead peps.........

A Lesson in Vietnamese Food.........

While our countrymen were marching for a fair election, the Lims were in Ipoh chilling out......To be franked I'm abit embarassed because I could not make it to the rally.....nevertheless, I will try my best to make an effort to support the agenda........monetary donation, wearing the right colour code, spreading messages etc......

Back to the main topic of the day......JieJie always comes up with funny ideas for food......this time, we're trying Vietnamese cuisine........Gone through some postings on Vnam Restaurant @ Ipoh thus decided to give it a shot.............

* We need him in this position before we could dine.........

* TiTi is behaving way way wayyyyyy better than JD during dinner......guess JieJie's military style did work after all.......

* Everyone was up and ready to give dinner a go.................

* First up...Lemon-Ginger Tea.............OMG......I'll die if you make me drink more........

* Next, fried popiah to start the meal..............

* Ahhhhh, that's more I like it.....but before I could start, I was told that we'll have to fold our own food........

* We were all given a crash course on how to fold our own popiah.......Did I ever shared a lil about my retarded talent in handwork?

* While the rest of the gang were busy paying attention to the teaching, I've already started rolling......I'm not particularly fond of being told what to do.....I just need to do things MY WAY.........

* Either My way or the highway.........in this case, I'm taking the highway.......

* I don't even feel like eating my dinner........huhuhu...lucky enough, we ordered seperate maincourse each.........

* No more popiah for a very long time.....unless if they're made ready to eat........

* My main course.......looks nice, taste??? Not to my liking...while the others had better main course, I screwed up mine yet again and started to dig my chopsticks into other's bowl.....hahaha....you know the feeling...."How come that looks better than mine moment".....Have to thank JieFu for paying the tab.......

* Yet another join-birdday........This time, for Papa, MW & KitKit.........JieJie was spot-on for once.....loved the cake...hehehe tqtq......

* JD was there to rehearse for his own Bday next month......hehehehe

* I end my weekend with my favourite drink (Kenny's treat that night)....hehehehe......I better start saving every penny I have because I'll be paying my housing loan this month.......have a great week peps.....I know I'll be having a pretty busy one.......^_^.....

Back to My Regular Weekend........

My definition of a regular weekend would be to chill with my family, doing house chores and not to forget a couple of hours of ME-TIME be it golf or some other stuff.......

I was packed with wedding invites for the past weeks........more critical of all would be one particular weekend which I named the Wedding Weekend......4 weddings in 2 days......I could only attend 2 of those sadly to day due to the different locations and time.......

After all the blissful wedding dinners, I took a month off from wedding bells and roll back to my old weekend routine........

* This was me, chilling at home........before JD comes and poke my nose and eyes.......

* My buddy getting married......huhuhu how touching.........

* Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Ho................

* Another one belongs to another ol' friend of mine.....we haven't meet each other for almost a decade....but with the power of Facebook, anything is possible......I've always love the food in a Malay wedding........

* My ol' buddy and his bride.........Tahniah..............

* PW decided to tag along too.....partly because of the food I kid you not.....hahahaha....

* It has been more than 3 months since I last chilled in my beloved shopping mall....Queensbay.....took the gang over this weekend for dinner and a brief groceries shopping......

* Since JS took the space in JD's stroller, I'll have to be the part time ride for my elder boy......he tends to run alot, so battery runs out pretty quick too.......

* Curiousity doesn't die off even when his battery did......always wanted to touch anything near to him........just being a kid........

* With that I would conclude My Regular Weekend......with my month end sales closing over, let me make time to bring the kids to the Zoo......JD has been taught to identity a wide range of animals now.......let Daddy bring him to the Zoo for some real life lesson.....flash cards could be boring at times.....hehehe.....have a great week ahead people......

My 2nd Father's Day.....double the joy..........Even with the extra hours of feeding, entertaining my lil bosses at home, it's all well worth it.............

* I'm flexible no more.......hahahaha......even my buttock is aching now....ohhh my.....bad call....hahahaha

* We ended our dinner on Sunday night @ Nando's.......well after the seafood dinner @ Bt. Tambun and not to forget our Roasted Duck lunch @ Lunas.....hehehee........

I Survived India............

Unforgettable is the only word I'll use to describe my short stint in Chennai, India........I've been deligently attending Mandarin classes for a couple of weeks now but then, my next destination is the exact contras from what I've expected.......

INDIA???? WHAT CAN I DO IN INDIA??? hahahaha don't get me wrong, 1Billion people couldn't be that wrong right? One of the oldest civilization, the oldest religion in the world.....what else can I say.....EXOTIC.......

* But why am I not as excited as my previous trips?? Let me elaborate......

* I will not bore you guys to death with work related stuff....instead, I'll only talk about the cool stuff.......not that cool anyway....hahaha

* First of all, if you think Malaysia is hot, THINK AGAIN.....with an average day reaching 40 degree celcius, back home feels like Cameron Highlands......

* The auto we used to see in those Tamil/Hindi movies.....saw that alot in the Amazing Races too......but never would I try getting one of those.....any Indian cabbies is more than qualified to race alongside Jensen Button.....

* The buzzling city life with a lil classical touch.......sorry I rephrase.....the buzzling city life with a hell lof of the classical touch....the nearest KFC is an hour drive from my hotel.....ohhhh MYYYY hahahaha.......

* Nothing is wrong with the bus's suspensions........it was purely overloaded......

* And here comes the good looking model........

* Bargaining is not that hard either.....just go for 50% with the price offered......please bear in mind, they're making a living too.......50% pretty reasonable....

* The building structure of the Hindu temples will definitely awe most of the visitors......

* We don't get these local 7-11 back home..........

* Most of the food here are edible (hotels & good restaurants ONLY).....but some can be extremely SPICY..........

* Since there's no 7-11 or any other shops around the hotel, the hotel chauffeur took us to the local liquor store......no running bill, no happy hour rate, no tibbits.......purely cash and carry.....on top of that, alot of pushing from the local dudes.....hahahaha

* My colleagues and I killed time with these in the hotel room from 8pm......pubs would be 60km from my hotel....I'm not interested to try neither......maybe someone else could, then please write me a field report....hehehehe

* Best dinner during the entire trip.....ma favourite.......nyuuuummmmmmmm~~~

* I hate long transit........since one of us do not have access to the VIP lounge, I've decided to stick with them and sleep on the couch....hahaha.......with that, I conclude my short trip to the place I do not look forward to go again......Exotic India.....Don't get me wrong, I'm more a beach boy than a city dude......hahahaha have a blasting week peps....

With the lack of pictures of my baby boy......I can't help but to blog about his elder brother yet again.....I've always wanted to have a post about MY BOYS.......I'll ensure I get sufficient pictures this coming weekend......

With the entire gang in Ipoh while I'm in Penang to attend to a friend's wedding, I really do miss the lil fella....he's extremely talkative for a yet to be 2 year old kid.....but he's not doing too good with phones.....he'd stare and smile but wouldn't respond to phone calls.....hehehe

* His inferiority to the beach reminds me of the exact crying picture Papa when I was about his age in front of monkeys.....hahaha at least I thought the monkeys are having me for lunch......but what is JD thinking bout the beach? His only complain was sand in his shoes....hahaha

* I can't help myself from bursting into laughter when he refused to let go of my arm when I put him down......

* All he needs is a lil father-son talk......I wonder if he could really understand everything that I've said to him....but deep down inside I sense that he could.....in a way....

* I'd rather he be a Kampung-boy rather than a city freak......so kiddo....NO IPAD for you....hahaha you can play with your cousins' expensive toys the next time you meet them......at least play until they boycott you...hahaha then Daddy will think of something else.....hahahahaha

* JD and his small car.....when you ask him bout his car, he'll tell you SMALL.....hahaha

* He is the reason I made such huge changes in my life..........

* I won't groom him with tuitions, homeworks, classes etc......I'll just let it flow.....never force your kid to do what you can't......but on the other hand those that I could, I do wish he could too.....stressful enough I think hahaha poor boy.....

* Sometimes I wonder if his curly-locks could cause him any discomfort......but I just love them.....since he has no complain....I'll keep it there for now....hahaha.....have a great week ahead peps......

I went home last weekend to check out on the kids and also to celebrate Mama's birthday.....hehehe Woke up on a beautiful Sunday morning to the sound of the delivery lady yelling MRS. LIM......MRS LIM.........ishhhhhhhhhh

* JieJie and the gang sent Mama flowers on her birthday.....wahhh luckily I had something in mind that day....hahaha else JieJie really does spoil market........

* I took the remaining of the clan to San Francisco Steak House.....the place I normally go at night for the stout....hahaha never tried the food before though....

* JD being his usual self.......cheeky.....ohh how I love him.....~~~

* BEST BEST BEST..........luckily did not listen to JieJie bout the bad food there.....well the main reason we went there was because of the 50% discount on most of the food......hahahaha without the discount we'll be having Taugeh Chicken instead....cut cost........cut cost.....

* TA...DA......my suprise present to Mama......she has been nagging me about the family photo......so I took the initiative to give her the complete version.....killing 2 birds with a stone....1. Mama's Bday present....2. No more nagging on "where is the picture?" hahahaha am I smart or am I smart?? hahaha

* Happy leh......hehehehehe........ngek ngek ngek.....she's happy because she has a smart son.....ME....hahaha let us do this again next year.......muaksssss~~~~

JS's Full Moon........

My baby boy is now a month old......time flies when I'm all alone in Penang while the rest of the gang are in Ipoh.......Everyone got back this weekend for JS's fullmoon.....thank you guys......I'll have the pictures do most of the elaboration...hehehe

* Today is MY DAY......yahooooooo......

* While some babies will have their head shaved, we chose to snip his hair a lil........I do not understand the bald-headed custom.......so I do not follow the custom I don't fancy...hehehe

* They then bathed him with flowers.......I think to cleanse the lil guy or something........

* Here a fully groomed full-moon baby.....hehehehe

* JD was telling his lil brother to smile more on the big day.....hahahaha

* Bring in on yooooo.........

* JieJie decided to go for ice-cream cake with several flavours.......since it's Mother's day, we have 3 mummies in the house.......TiTi's Belated Bday.....JS's fullmoon......all at 1 go......

* Check out the hype during the candle blowing ceremony......too bad JieJie had to play a prank today by buying those unblowable candles......

* Took everyone more than 10 minutes to kill of the candles....hahaha I'm not eating the one MW blew....ohhh my......additional flavour leh.....

* And we ended the eventful weekend with a new family portrait......hehehe.....MM has the privilege of the center seat because she's the only girl in the family.....hehehe need more gals.......have a blasting week ahead peps.......

My long forgotten post.......My cousin had his wedding last March......due to my breeding schedule, I could only find time to briefly blog about this main event....hehehe....

My Sis-in-law is an Ipoh-ian too.........so half of the event was held in Ipoh.....event like this is always a good family gathering.....

* I spent time bugging my nephews and niece.....hahaha my lil nephew..........

* Family picture at the groom's place...........next cousin getting married coming November......gotta keep angpow money liao......hehehe

* One of the dinner is at Bt. Ferringhi.......We took the opportunity to have our mini-family trip.......MW & MM were so brave on the pony......too bad JD was a direct opposite.......

* He refused to touch the sand.......claiming that it's dirty...ekk ekk ekkkkk.......OMG how could the son of the sunshine boy be afraid of the beach......hahahaha needs more training.....will bring him to the beach more often now.......

* He'd rather had a ride on his GongGong's shoulder.......his GongGong = his BFF (Best Friend Forever)........Seriously......I'm wondering how come this fella is so attached to his Grandpa......he'll totally ignore me when Papa is around...hahahahah

* Coffee break before dinner.......KitKit and Papa ought to cut down on their ciggies intake....ish ish ish....hehehehe spare some for me yoooo....hahaha

A Week with JD..........

Mama was having a terrible backache 2 weeks into babysitting JD......so last week, I brought JD home......my turn to babysit this lil fella all alone......

Taking of a kid alone is no simple task.......I pray and I pray this lil fella will sleep through the nights......One night he's okay....the next he got up and puked milk.....I had to bath him in the wee hours of the day.....imagine that......

* The best moment ever.........Lil fella soundly asleep.......

* I took him to the mall every single night..........

* Trained him to eat on his own.........this lil boy loves bread.....must be from Mummy because Daddy seriously hates bread..........

Well, a week with Daddy is all over now.......sent JD to Ipoh last weekend to stay with PW......after the tiring 1 week babysitting, I'm now down with flu, cough, sorethroat, etc.....it's like the entire happy meal came along......recovering well I hope......

* Potty training with his helmet........I do miss my kids........but sometimes silence is bliss.....hahahaha FREEDOMMMMMMMM......see you guys next weekend.....muaks.....

I was home 2 weeks ago for the one of the main event of having another baby in the house.....The Naming Ceremony....hehehe

Our FengShui Team (Papa, JieFu, Mama) vs Baby Jaysen.......Being a Chinese, we'll have to give our kid a traditional Chinese name.....we'll have to pair the element of wood, fire, gold, etc so that the name that the child carries will bring him a hell lot of good stuff......hehehe

* This lil fella has no idea what was going on with the huge crowd at home.....

* Since we have all the time in the world, we went to the Kacang Putih land in Buntong to do a little bit of shopping.........

* The local snacks.......by bulk.......CHEAPER.....way CHEAPER......

* To kill time, I tried out the new drive-thru summon counter at the local hall.....

* This is not the conventional McDonald's drive-thru where you pay and you get something in return.........this counter they just take and they don't give......they'll take and take somemore....

Posts have been really short lately due to my family commitment, work stuff, final thesis etc.......AT LAST, the moment that I've been waiting for is here.....the birth of my 2nd boy........ This time, PW will not endure the normal labour.....due to the breached position of the baby, we've opted to go for a C-sec......Papa called him Winston Churchill....... * Even without the natural labour contraction, the water bag broke right after we registered......hahaha the timing was just right.....we eventually chose this time based on WOFS.com aka World of Feng Shui.....hahaha thanks to Lilian Too...... * The scary part for me was when the Doc said hubby can join the operation......wah saiiii....I've seen normal delivery and now I'll witness C-Sec......any Dads out there want to top my record?? Crashing Seoul.........

I was on another business trip to Seoul.......the order came in pretty late as usual....so I'll have to juggle with last minute homework, house chores, work loads etc.......being a last minute trip, I do not have the luxury to plan for some walkabout in the city this time around......I'll have no other option but to take the first flight home after departing on a red eye flight earlier.........

* It's like living in your refrigerator....imagine putting one hand in your pocket and holding your cigarrete on the other...once you're done puffing, your hand will be completely NUMB.......ohhh man.....love the place hate the weather.....

* Of the many hotels I've been to, this was by far awkward with the room key....it's actually a REAL key.....can't put them in my wallet.....

* That ark is actually the hotel entrance......hahaha it looks like a temple on a hill......

* The purpose of my trip.........

* I'm not a big fan of kimchi......never fancy them.....but the bbq meat.....nyum nyummmm......

* My host that day......Matthew......He was kind enough to bring me around town after work rather than having me entertaining the older crowd.....

* My first screen golf experience....hahaha the score was pretty embarrassing...but the digital distance, hahaha impressive......

* Got up early the next morning, cam-whored and ready for the boring day ahead......10 hours of agonizing meeting......

* Korean wine and beer is a MUST on every dinner......I drank so much the night before, I swear was peeing beer the following day...hahaha

* Am I the youngest or what??? No kidding, I'm the youngest.....hahaha....I'm not having any white hair or hair lost.....that makes me young.......seriously....

* After a couple of shots on wine and beer, the next thing you know.....your president and the American VP is cam-whoring with the waitress.....hahahaha....being a global meeting, you'll meet more Americans than Koreans there......

* Just to make sure my mind was sober and I'm not imaginating stuff, I'm certain they put ice on the urinating bowl there.......I'll most probably be crushed by emails coming Monday.....and tight dateline for my thesis submission......need to focus and get things done once and for all......Have a great work week peps.........see you guys in Ipoh coming weekend for Bobby's wedding.....YAHHHOOOOOOO

Sometimes, I pity my lil boy.....he has no one to play with at home....well except for me. He'll do anything to catch my attention........let's hope he'll get him companion when his kid brother is out next month.......hehehe

My First Year in Samsung............

I would love to share some lights on my first year in Samsung.......with the ups and downs in 2010, I managed to make it through my virgin year without getting myself fired.....hehehe

It was a personally decision jumping ship even when I loved my previous job.....I need to spend more time with my family....a decision I did not regret....hehehe

* My family.....one more in PW's tummy....coming out real soon....JD took my bike away.....the 2nd baby took the last hope of having a bike again.......huhuhuhu

* Had my first Bird-Day celebration in the office........hehehe

* Been to Seoul...............

* Been to Spore.........my virgin trip to the kiasu-land that time seriously...and damn Fatty Lock for his photo taking skill......use DSLR also can become like that.....kinda reminds me of GohPek back in Jakarta....hahahaha

* Been to Shanghai........best trip of the year....since I have a local guide living behind my hotel....hehehe......

* Another thing about the Samsung folks........they love taking pictures.......

* Being in a sales office, you could expect more ladies than guys...hehehehehe....

* And they love to EAT too....I lost track on the foodie pics after a couple of weeks........

* Out door activities are monthly events...............

* They even gave out shirts just to suit the occassion.........and the best of all........

Chinese New Year has always been the main event of the year....of course apart from your yearly bonus announcement......my pay out has been pretty decent this year....at least enough for me to survive this festive season with a lil money to spare.......

Let me run through quickly on what I had been up to for the last couple of days........

* JD getting ready for bed on New Year's eve.....the saying goes that the longer you stay awake, the better longevity your parents get.....so just imagine what time JD had to stay up till...hehehehe 130AM...hahahaha next year he'll try to break the 2AM bench mark.....

* Father and son got up feeling slightly stoned from the late night the day before..........well, at least I'll live pretty long if the saying were true.....hehehe

* We went to Grandma's place at Balik Pulau....check out the Kampung house behind us....this will be our last year celebrating there as Grandma will be moving out soon....next year, we will not have the chance to lay back in the country side anymore....no more coconut trees, no more chickens running around, no more hiding behind bushes to gamble every New Year.......huhuhu we'll surely miss this great place....I've been there ever since I was a kid......

* JD seems to love lion dance....I think.......at least he's not crying yo....hehehe

* Everyone gathered for the final family photo in Balik Pulau..........a place we shall all remember for the rest of our lives........

* We rushed home @ Ipoh early the next day......We went over to PW's house for reunion dinner and got home in the evening and wait for yet another main event......Wii......opss I meant to say Lion Dance.....hehehe

* Everyone loves our yearly Lion Dance back at home......I've been scouting for the best and at last I found the best troupe several years ago and we've been sticking to the same one ever since.....the best I've ever since......real pro no kidding...hehehe

* 3rd day has been as eventful too.....got up at 6am just to get trashed by my cousin aka BroTM on the golf course......game ended at 130PM and yes I was fried by the sun that day....hehehe......I'm pretty sure I'll get to his level soon.....I hope....hehehe

* CNY is never complete without the annual 'Lou Sang'......this year, Mama made the dishes....edible I would say....hehehe.....we missed out on our yearly family photo this year due to everyone's tight schedule....but we'll be meeting up next month by the beach...hehehe we'll get one there....better view...hehehe.....got to run now......more to come pretty soon I hope.......Have a bounciful rabbit year people.........HUAT ARRRRRRRRRRRR

JD's First Teppanyaki.........

I'm having a pretty swollen left eye due to the surgery I did last Friday... I had consulted 4 different doctors and most of them sadly to say cheated my cash.....I've decided to get it done once and for all when I visited a specialist last Friday.....surgery was okay but once the pain killer was over, the pain really kills.....hahaha

The doc told me it take about 4-5 days to recover and I'm actually doubting it since the swell is nothing near to recovery.....damn.....I'm in no condition for outings.....so I've decided to take the family to a dimly lit restaurant for dinner on Saturday.....Let's try teppanyaki this week....with the dim lights and smoke from the grill maybe my swollen left eye won't look too obvious in public...hahahaha

* JD was pretty much amazed with the master chef.....he tried his skill using the spoon that we gave him.....

* The food was great....very very nice.....but the price....arghh......better do this not more than once a year....

* I was trying my best not to scare JD with my monstrous eye....but the lil fella just didn't notice his Daddy has a very very big left eye lately...hehehe good to know.....

* He seems to enjoy the food too that night.....good to know...but of course PW enjoyed the most....she did all the ordering that night...I was avoiding social contact remember? hehehe

My Weekend in KL........

This post was due last week.....so let me do a quick review on the happennings last weekend........I was in KL for 2 days a week ago.....main agenda was to attend Dean's wedding...I just took the opportunity to meet up with my buddies and do a lil bit of shopping......hehehe....

* JD being his usual self....happy as always......

* I met up with my buddies for lunch on Sunday......Being in KL, lunch started an hour late......KL seems to have a different time zone I suppose...hehehehe....

* JD bonding with all the Uncles and Aunties around.........

* Mamasan was there too...lucky enough......the purpose for meeting her that day was to get the souveniors my Aussie buddy bought for me....hehehe....

* A group photo after meal.......HaiKun managed to show me his other half that day....hehehe.....bravo bravo.....

* My boys.......well the one standing with goatie doesn't count as he's Mamasan's boy....not mine...hahahahaha....

* PW was so busy shopping that day, she forgot to pass me the camera for cam -whoring.......so...not much picture taken......at last she found her purse...45% discount thanks to AMEX.......

* With the CNY just around the corner, it would be great to clean everything a month before as I might be pretty busy the date arrives......month end closing ma......

* JD was pretty busy sucking his Yakult while waiting for Daddy to bring him to our favourite mall in Penang, Queensbay....just love the place....but I'd prefer Midvalley or 1Utama anytime......hehehe lucky enough I'll be going to Midvalley next weekend....YAHOOOOOO.....

* We had our late lunch at the brand new Taiwanese restaurant.....food whilst okay nothing to shout for.......but the captain of the day seemed pretty moody....I think his dog died last night or something......or to be more precise, he's more equipped to work in a funeral parlour than a restaurant....serious I kid you not....go try it for yourself...hehehe luckily I'm in great mood that day.....nothing can spoil my given holidays....hahaha

* Not too pricy.......tasted average....won't return if I'm paying for the next meal....once is enough...hahahahah

* Our game that day was pretty bad due to the course's condition...hahaha blame it on the grass....will polish my swings after this hectic week.....hehehe.....

1. Complete my MBA....... - DONE and I thought I'd have more time to myself....JD is growing up so quick and Jr. No. 2 is on the way.....do the math about 'Me' time....almost non existance....

2. Get a new bike....... - FAILED. But I'm still living the dream. Eventhough the only ride I'd be closed to is JD's kiddies ride, I'm still trying my best to get an affordable bike. Just to please myself.....

3. Strive for better income...... - DONE. I would considered it as a more stable career rather than the one with better income. Income pretty much static but at least I get to spend all the time in the world with my lil monkey at home.....

4. Family Vacation........ - DONE. We managed to organize a simple family vacation in Singapore....let's try somewhere else next year....

5. Tatoo JD's initial on my back....... - DONE and I'm lovin' it.....hehehehe

Let's see....4 out 5. Pretty good score in 2010. Let's see how do I rate next year from my 2011's resolutions....

* Saw this on my last trip to the airport....Thanks to Citibank, I got to enjoy the VIP lounge for FREE.....everything is FREE in the lounge....beers....OMG....I could only imagine the group of my Hais pondering in this lounge with this free flow beer pump....

* JD is getting montrous by the day.......he will drop to the floor for no reason whatsoever and dig his nose.....I can't predict what this lil fella is gonna do next......

* One of my buddy is down with dengue fever....in fact, this guy here is my client....hahaha....I bonded really well with most of my clients...believe me when I tell you my ex-clients are still calling me even after a year......some just to catch you, some seeking advice, some offering me jobs......better keep this network alive....might just need them in life after Samsung...hehehehe

* Christmas is just around the corner.....This year, PW and I decided not to setup the Xmas tree......We're afraid that JD might choke on some of the decos......check out our tree from last year.......ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS...............................................

* A BIGGER HOUSE........hahahaha......saw this unit for sale a couple of days ago.....the plus point is, this house is just right beside my current unit.......when I showed Kit2 the place from our car park the other night, his reaction was...."I can climb over the wall for dinner next time"......Will be viewing the house tomorrow evening....hopefully it's up to our standard as I do really like the compound...hehehehe....Well...have a great holiday ahead and a Merry Christmas people.........

Classmate's Wedding............

I was invited for my classmate's wedding dinner last month at Evergreen.....let me see, that was JD's wedding dinner number 4.....as usual, the low post rate is always due to heavy commitment at work and home...this time, it's all home.......hehehe work has been pretty much ermmm....STATIC......don't get me wrong, routine is sometimes GOOD in a way.....hehehe

* Nice deco, Nice menu........there were 3 pregnant ladies at the same table....hehehe breeding season yoooo......

* Took JD to the lobby since we were abit early.....or weddings are always late.......

* JD had a go at his first xmas tree.....we did not setup our tree this year because JD would probably chew most of the decos.......better safe than sorry.....I would not want to have the blinking LED lights coming out from the lil fella's tummy.....hehehehe

* Pretty nice stage........the live band was great.....classico......

* The mini man was kinda restless after 30 minutes.......

* I'll now think twice before bringing him to another function.....seriously.....he cries for attention every 5 minutes....just imagine a 4 hour function....let me talk about my company dinner next time......ishhhh

The company sent me to Shanghai last week.....the agenda, meet up with people....warehouses, factories and not to mention people from Samsung Shanghai......a hectic schedule without too much time for leisure......I started packing right after my month end closing day........

* I could tell that JD really wanted to tag along.......

* I saw alot alot of these during my trip.......

* Of course when the sun sets, I'll make the best out of the situation....sleep less, walk more.......lucky enough I have a tourist guide staying nearby.....

* My Ol'buddy....TengHui.....ironically he stays behind my hotel.....took me around town for 2 night in a row...thanks dude....

* @ Nanking road....due to the EXPO, most of the imitation stalls were closed down by the government....there goes my shopping spree......

* After dinner, TengHui took me to a Chinese bar aka 88....the place sucks....I've been bumped by so many chinese guys that day, I lost count......next we headed to TheShelter.....it was an old bomb shelter turned to a bar.....western style...not too bad if not for a few Americans guys talking non-stop to us.....I was hoping for American chicks.....maybe TengHui looks abit too gay that night.....

* The night was once again ended with supper from the street......check out my dude......too well-dressed to be squatting by the street waiting for his food...hahahaha....that basically ends my short trip to Shanghai....thanks again to my dude for the hospitality....Important day for me tomorrow....Doc said the result should be out by then...pray for me people.......signing out.......

To elaborate on my busy schedule, I'll have a golf meeting on Saturday morning......KC's house warming on Saturday night and not to forget my ManUnited match to watch right after. My plumber is dropping by on Sunday morning & SL's wedding at night......that would basically conclude my coming weekend......

On top of this busy month, I'll be travelling again.....this time, on business trip.....guess who I'll get to meet? My ex-gay partner in crime......let me talk more bout it when I'm back.....

Nothing beats a home cook meal....but sometimes when PW is busy aka lazy, we'll dine out.....Please bear in mind that I'm not a picky eater....I survived on Nasi Goreng Kebab 3 times a day for weeks back in Uni....or instant noodles for days....of course my all time favourite involves rice....

Dinings come in abundance......spoilt with choices....but most of them are just overrated.....

Example when I was in Sakae sushi with PW the other day, she ordered her favourite Chicken Toriyaki...check it out......

It has been quite a while since our last trip to our favourite mall.......Since I've got a voucher to have my car polished by 'CARS', we were made to linger around the mall for 4 hours while waiting for the car......

Take my advice...if you're in a mall with your wife and kid, the longer you linger, the higher the damage...hahaha seriously....PW bought a Crocs sandals for RM169....I just could not understand the value of such sandals.....bought JD 2 new water bottles with straw attached (he's learning to use the straws) etc.....

* JD met his first clown that day......suprisingly he was afraid......

* Timid lil loud boy.....mind the picture quality.....my cameraman, the I-phone guy is having mild parkinson.......

* We had to have a pit-stop for about 2 hours because JD needs his afternoon nap....KitKit was kind enough to buy us drinks at the Coffeebean.....wahhhhhh being me, I will NOT...I repeat...WILL NOT pay the hefty price just to have a cup of drink there.....since KitKit is paying so why not...hehehe..

Babysitting a kid in indeed not easy.....I found out when I took a day off taking care of JD when his babysitter is away yesterday.....I bathed him for the very first time...How I wish he could stand still and turn so that I could bath him with a pressure pump....JD TURN TURN TURN....then dry him up with a hair dryer....hehehe....

* Papa bought him the walker 2 weeks ago....and believe me, he's making good progress....show ya the video later on......

* Lil man still very blur on what was going on that day.......

* I was so tensed being a househusband for a day...hehehe frankly.....I would love to spend as much time as possible with the lil guy.....main reason to why I left the job I loved in February....

Had a great family gathering in Ipoh last weekend....Ipoh aka Food Paradise....We went for our usual food quest around town....

* The reknown TauFuFah in Town @ Beside LouWong.....they even have drive-thru lanes....checkout the cars right in front of the shop....those people will order right from the car, have their meal delivered....eat, pay and drive.....but the taste hmmm....OVERRATED...

* We're the conventional type.....line-up, order, pay, eat and leave......

* The business is so good they could not predict the closing time....Opens from 10:30am...Closes when they're out of stock....seriously....remember those days when our parents forced us to study hard so that we could have lucrative job in the future?? Guess what?? THEY LIED......how many degree holders could afford a continental car?? Now you get my point...hehehe

* All thanks to my buddy Nicklas for the introduction of this special local biscuit shop.....after almost 3 decades in Ipoh, I have no idea Ipoh has such a product......(NOTE: Almost 3 decades doesn't mean that I'm anywhere near 30...might look 30 but definitely nothing close....hehehe)

* Not cheap too.......

* Papa was so busy commenting on our dancing form, we asked him to give the Wii dancing mat a try......hahaha luckily he didn't fall....else we'll have to cancel our dinner that night....

I was so into trying my new jogging shoes today, I ran and ran and ran right after work......I've found a decent jogging track near my place....but too bad after several kilometres I've to call KitKit to fetch me home hahaha....my old right knee is giving me problem again...I used to be called 'Raja Pecut' aka Sprinting King.....but now 'Raja Kecut' aka Puncture King....

* If I could run like years before, this track is just a piece of cake...hehehe need time to recover before I run again...hehehe....old fart..

A topic from the radio this morning kinda caught my attention....once again our government is making a fool of themselves.....They've come out with another masterplan....TalentCorp...with the intention to lure back those Malaysias working abroad.....This is to avoid having a brain dead nation in the future.....

I believe until the day I do not have to fill in my 'RACE' in any application form, all these frabajabas from the government are just political gimmick or yet another stupidity from the benchmaker.....As long people like Ibrahim Ali, Ahmad Ismail etc. is still running the show, this country....as far as I'm concerned is already half dead.....

* Brain dead my arse....I've known quite a number of people working abroad.....and getting them back?? Lately, JD is developing a love for all the joyrides in the mall.....averagely, JD visits the mall at least once a week.....sometimes JD and I have nothing much to do when PW is busy checking out her shoes or clothes.....I tend to put him on the kiddy's ride so that I do not have to entertain him that much......and the result to all those rides = He will demand for his rides everytime he sees one.....

* Anywhere.....anytime......I could actually rent one of those and put them at home...hmmmm let me consider....

In short, we Malaysians call it the mooncake festival....what kinda autumn are we referring to? The only 2 seasons we have in Malaysia are Raining & Non-Raining......it's freaking HOT all year round....agree? ^_^.

My MD invited the entire office to his place yesterday night for a simple gathering and also a clay making competition.....arggghhh......I consider myself an all rounder....music, studies, sports etc NO PROBLEMO........but ART....ehem.....ehem...do your own judgement later....

* The view from my MD's apartment......it was my first time being in a 6,000 square feet's apartment.....and the view WAHHHHH KILLING.......a single unit on every floor.....my seniors told me it's about 2 million Ringgit EACH.....unless the bank will approve a 120 years loan.....else I'll have to forget about it......

No More Coffee Table.....

I just lost out on a house deal last week....looks like I'll have to brush up my negotiation skills and keep on searching.....I recon that would be next on my buying list.....A new bike was supposed to be next but due to some unforeseen circumstances the listing has then been revised....

JD is finding our current home pretty constraining because we have too much deco which are not kid friendly....especially our coffee table right in the middle of the hall.....He then decided to get rid of his nemesis by pushing the glass table and eventually breaks it......

Ipoh has a new town attraction......hehehe Universal Ipoh's Studio or Ipohland......the old school fun fair is in town....the one we had before Genting Highlands or Sunway Lagoon......The one I used to visit more than 2 decades ago......

* They have the scoop the duckie game.....

* The main attraction would be the Ferris Wheel.....aka Ipoh Flyer....hahaha I kid you not...this way better than the Singapore flyer.....at least faster....hahahaha....

* JD patiently waiting for his turn....I took the initiative to bring him here because, few more years down the road these guys would be long gone....no more fun fair old school style.....

* Papa said JD didn't even move a muscle throughout the entire ride....hahaha I guess the fella was just nervous.....

It was the time for JD's regular jab...this time it was the MMR.....I took him to the government clinic for all his jabs....this was of course with the advice from my gynae....he said the doses there are fresher and since I'm paying taxes every year might as well use some of my own money from the government's pocket.....hehehe don't get me wrong, I'm not the old CheapJing I used to be......JD has 2 private doctors....yes not 1 but 2....

* One thing I dislike about the government sectors are their efficiency......seriously...the display chart shows 30 minutes for the entire process while it took me slightly more than an hour to finish the process....Piagam my ARSE.......and to make matter worst.....

* The clinic was empty that day......the total number of nurses easily surpasses the visitors 4 to 1....and yet.....

* It took them so long....check out 2 of the nurses chatting with each other while I waited and waited and waiting with the imaginary crowds......The only way to to improve this would be to fire the management and put someone capable in charge......hehehe.... better not waste government fund if you cannot perform......Luckily my next visit is in 6 months.....and after that 2 years.....for once, I understood the true meaning where money could buy time.....

Being Malaysians, we're spoilt with choices of hypermarkets....Tesco, Tesco Extra, Carrefour, Giant, Jusco etc.....the worst of them all, I would rate GIANT.....not only did I found they sometimes put expired food for sale....their racking arrangement is pretty much illogical..........

* Out of convenience, we dropped by to get JD's milk powder.....since we're taking a stroll at Sunway Carnival Mall, we don't mind to grab something and get out of there......

* They locked JD's favourite brand in a glass shelve.......since they do not want to invest in RFID like the others do....I could understand why they put a lock for infant's milk powder......

* They're even smart enough to put this tiny mini sign below the rack...."Please ask for assistance"......how thoughtful......

* After walking around the milk area for almost 5 minutes....I can't spot a single sales person.....only when I took out my camera, took a couple of shots while shaking my head and said it out loud "Complain....MUST complain"...someone rushed over and said "Sir no pictures allowed"...hahaha then the fella brought the keys to my treasure.....eventually, there's a hidden bell that you'll need to ring for assistance.....at least my tactic worked........Moral of the story...GIANT SUCKS....BIG TIME....hehehe......have a great work week ahead people.......

As we were at the peak of our trip......We all got up early and off we went......to the Universal Studio......the nearest in the region......since my last trip to Disneyland couple of years back, I did really miss the princesses and hot models....hahahaha Let me get back to the unfortunate fairytale......

* MM and JD bonding....this is the closest JD could get to an elder sister.....how sweet....

* We were busy taking pictures with the iconic globe....only then we found out that the tickets for the day were eventually SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!!! What is wrong with this place??????

* As we treat ourselves with the superb popcons sold at the entrance, we decided to just take a stroll around while Papa & Mama trash the Casino.....Papa said he'd drink at least 5 cups of juice in the casino to make up to our unrealised losses that day....too bad he could only down 3...hahahaha

* The rest of the gang just cam-whored around.....we gave up the offer from the black market ticket runner.......each ticket will cost us S$105 instead of the original price of S$65....the gap was way too huge....even the runners are mad in this crazy town....

* Please take a closer look at the mock Merlion LionFish behind us.....JieFu said this is the enhanced version from the original one....it comes with an antenna on it's head....hahaha better reception I suppose....

* Everywhere was under construction....but the kids wouldn't mind......

* We seeked refuge from the blazing sun in the mall.....didn't buy anything because of the expensive price tag.....madness......

Family Trip Singapore 2010.......

Let's continue from A'Famosa....we departed to Singapore early the next day. Half way there, we stopped by YongPeng, Johor for the famous fish ball and fish cake (Papa's Favourite).

* This is the famous restaurant......

* Noodles pretty much average........I'm not a big fan of fish balls though...

* But the fish cake....MARVELLOUS...nyum nyum....

With JieFu cruising around 170KM/hour (I was chasing to catch up until I almost puke from my own driving), we reached Singapore custom in no time.....

* I got over the inspection without any haste.....but after waiting for 1 hour, only did I know JieFu got stuck with the Singaporean custom....

He was suspected terrorist upon entry.....he has 2 cartons of 'Pop-Pop' in his car.....and the Singaporeans thought he's gonna pop-pop Singapore to the dust.....let me show you what 'Pop-Pop' is just in case you didn't know....

* These are pop-pops......normally played by the faint-hearted or kids below the age of 10 during festive seasons...throw it on the floor then it will just POP...that's all...I'm pretty sure JieFu will need a hell lot of those to Pop Singapore away from the world map don't you think so??? But anyway, 3 hours down the road they let him off with a warning.....typical Singaporeans....

* We proceed to our planned destination of the day....the Singapore Flyers......I was busy briefing MW about the danger of Pop-Pop in the eyes of the Singaporeans....hahahahaha

* Ah haaa.....we'll hv JieFu's sister to thank for the free tickets.......

* Everyone was pretty excited for the first ride of the day......Very high expectation because of the hefty price tag....

* You can feel the raw enthuthiasm when we're on the ride......check out PW....can show V sign some more...hahahaha

* 5 minutes later.....we were busy cam whoring for the sights are pretty much the same.....

* 10 minutes later.....we even let JD enjoy the view on his own.....no wonder Singaporean Government are so freaking rich.....

* Let me elaborate.........if you don't have any free tickets, you'll be paying S$30 to view shown picture above for 30 freaking minutes....hahahahaha.....an experience......I'll cherish that for a long long time........well more to come on part 2....have a great week ahead people....

A' Farmosa Resort..........

As I was telling tales about my long weekend down south, let me continue.....We stayed a night in A'Farmosa Resort, Alor Gajah......JieJie & JieFu bought a new villa inside the resort.....so we were blessed with a night FREE stay....I think JieJie really wanted me to help her promote...hehehe.....Have to thank them for such great hospitality......check it out...

* One of a kind.......nice design I kid you not.......They did the extension on their own....

* Comfy hall....with a huge dining table and a food bar....4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms.....

* The best part......A POOL........actually 2 pools, 1 baby pool right beside.....

* JD must be wondering how come he's going on reverse........

* I was so busy humping one of those I almost forgot I have a son swimming there......

* At least JieFu remembers his.........

* Who's the man???? hahaha Papa was busy teaching MW how to swim.....MW always says he swims like a fish while his KungKung swims like a pig......kids.....so truthful hahahaha

* Right after dinner, we headed to the up a deck built for evening tea or outdoor gathering....

* The major event of the day??? Papa's Belated Birdday....hehehe

* Papa is 61 year young now.......Be a good boy this year old wise man...hahahahahaha....cut down on your cigarette....

We had our family gathering last weekend....this time, we went to Singapore but before that, we had pit-stop in KL for lunch in Duck King @ Jaya 1....after that, to A' Farmosa Resort to meet up with JieJie, JieFu and the kids......

* After his meal, JD had his first poo at my PS1 (carl will know where...hehehe) I used to shit there alot during my travelling days.....hahaha

* Duck King....one of my favourite restaurants in KL besides New Paris.....well both are blacklisted by my group of KL homies......too bad too bad....

* Seaweed beancurd.......

* Mustard Pao.......I didn't like those....not recommended....

* Stir & Deep Fried Kai lan.....Recommended......

* Siew Long Pao.....I'm not a fan of pork.....so no comment.......

* Roasted Duck....highly recommended...die die must try.....reasonable price too.....nyum nyum....

* Fried Noodles with duck meat......my fav too.....

* Last but not least.....Peking Duck...never been to Beijing so I've no idea on the authenticity of it's taste...hehehe

With the World Cup fever still on going for at least another 2 weeks, we could see people coming to work in a pretty bad mood when their team losses a match....Government and crazy extremists gaining political mileage by proposing and objecting to legalizing gambling in Malaysia....

They're even planning for a rally in thousands just to oppose the idea even when the government has called off the plan....with all due respect to the bad impact of having gamblers around, I think we're mature enough to handle this minor issue...just look at Singapore, Australia, etc....Why such noise you idiots...you just don't bet when you don't want to....and yet they formed a useless movement and call themselves Anti-Gambling Movement (GMJ)....I would named them Group of Malaysian Junkies......hehehe The country is looking pretty bright having such jackasses around.....Malaysia Boleh Ke???....

Since our trip to Phuket got called off at the last minute, we've decided to go to Singapore next month to warm up for our family vacation this year.....That means, JD will need to get his passport done....JD will have his first experience in Spore at the age of 10 months old while his daddy took 27 years to be there for the very first time....hahaha

* First of all, JD will need a passport picture......

* Next, to the Immigration department....I'm lucky the Immigration is just 1KM away from home, that morning JD puked in the car while we were on our way there...we had to turn back home to change while I clean up the mess......naughty lil boy....

Be it 1 or 2 or 3, I wouldn't be sucked up with this childish approach.....when they need your vote, they call us Malaysians....and when they don't, I become immigrant aka Pendatang....I'd rather vote for the 1moon (PAS) than to land my vote to the MCA.....well, General Election?? Being in my typical routine, I'm always busy.....not too much with work but with my after work commitments.....studies, family gatherings, etc......Being a great Daddy, I'd try my best to provide JD with the best exposure....

* Instead of placing him on a babychair watching cartoons for hours, I'll bring him out as often as possible.......this time, day trip back to Ipoh due to a huge family gathering back home....we departed home right after my class on Sunday....

* JD all dressed up for the occasion.....trying out PW's sunglasses....his head is getting so big now that the cap could hardly fit.......

* @ Sam Poh Tong...hahahaha...I was the guide for the day...that explains the venue....but anyway it was JD's first trip there......

The good thing about working for a MNC is that you get to travel for the slightest reason.....the bad side to that travelling is, you don't get too much time for yourself....

I was on a very short trip to Singapore last week.....for a 30 minutes briefing, I got to venture to the land I had yet to register my passport....and yes, the closest for me being in Spore would be the 15 hours stay in the airport more than a month ago.....

* This is the closest I'd get to the Spore flyer.......

* And another bad thing about business travel would be no changing of clothes before flying.....you'll have to be in your best monkey suit on the plane......

* Good side is, the free logging ain't that bad after all..........

* Got myself a studio lot just beside Clarke Quay.......

* If you ask me, I would probably describe Singapore as a pretty clean metropolitan....and it comes with alot of AngMosss......

KitKit is now staying with me for almost 2 weeks....getting him to get up for work during the first week had been truly an experience....he could hold on to his ringing alarm and sleep as soundly as a hog....or he would set up an alarm that got me up frim the next room while he sleeps like no tomorrow....the best thing was, he's not even covering his ears.....

Being a responsible elder brother.....I tend to guide this big sized younger brother of mine to adulthood...and he could understand I could just lend him a hand in times of needs....it's time for him to grow up...the fella even volunteered to help out with the chores....this is what brotherhood is all about......The time will come when KitKit will have his own family and be totally independent...his own family to take care of.....I told him to take his time but not a life time like the many people we knew did......

I could only expose him to the sun and it's up to him to bloom.......hahahaha better not use flower in this case.....I'm the GPS and he's the driver.....can't expect me to drive his car for him...that's how it should be....

* Having working in the Penang Island for almost 4 months now....I was taken to quite a few local stalls for some delicacies only found in the Island.....

* Took them to 'Wang Chau Jiun' for lunch last weekend........

I was laying low for the weekend, recovering from the fever....I just got to know that I will not have to attend my Sunday class throughout this month...yuppieeee but the down side would be.....2 classes per week next month....

My weekend was pretty much dull......DVDs, sports channel, newspaper, fooling around with the kid, chores etc....without my regular Saturday Queensbay trip, I find my Saturday and Sunday passing by pretty slow....not to mention - NO EPL.....hehehe

* Boring~~~ I think I'll arrange a trip home next weekend......

I had a feeling a bad sore throat is on the way last night...after a fried koey teow lunch and several fried chicken wings for dinner, I could sense that I'll be in deep trouble real soon....and my sense was right....I felt pretty dizzy the next morning...with the flu kicking in at the same time, I'm up against my old nemesis....the Jackpot package (Flu, Sore throat & Fever)......

My colleagues were a lil over cautious when they made me wear the mask in the office.....I had no other choice but to consult a doctor and get my sick leaves endorsed for today and tomorrow....

* This was over doing it....I think they'll quarantine me if I didn't leave the office by noon...luckily I did managed to clear my stuff and leave on time......

* I went to a specialist's clinic nearby....when it's special, the bill ain't that normal either....RM122 is way too special....

* To make matter worst, PW made me wear a mask at home too.....I guess I'll be sleeping in the guestroom tonight.....

* My only consolation for the day would be a cheque from the IRB from my tax rebate....ngek ngek ngek....they seem to be pretty efficient this year.....gonna use this for my car insurance...without the NCB I will be paying 1k more than the usual.....let's pray for my recovery else the doctor will have me back in the clinic for a H1N1 test that also comes with a special price.......hehehe have a great weekend people.....

It has been more than 3 months since I did my shopping.....or should I rephrase...I has been more than 3 months since I last been to KL.....my previous job demanded at least a trip or more a month to the capital city....but the current one, NONE....Don't get me wrong, I kinda like it this way.....but due to my tight schedule for the past few weeks, I could not even find time to go there for a stroll....I don't believe I'm saying this but I really did miss it there...hehehehe

The major setback in Penang would be the quality of it's shopping complexes.....a huge gap to those in KL.....I've been waiting for my IKEA's babychair for a couple of weeks now.....

* At last, GohPek has finally bought it for me....thanks GohPek.....else I'll have to ask JD's busy GodDad to get it eventhough I would love to use his budget for the 1 year old car seat (cost higher..)..hehehe

I had been busy with my work, assignment and exam.....at the very same time, JD the lil man came down with Chicken Pox......ishhhh...what a bad timing to get it....JD was pretty brave....in fact, he has no idea he has the viral in him....business as usual....My biggest concern would be: with all the smooching he might transfer the Chicken Pox to my CP free body.....If I get it during the World Cup season then it won't be that bad.....pray hard that I don't get it.....hehehe

Korea & Kimchi......

I managed to catch the flight to Korea at the very last minute for the Global Account meeting....It came as a suprise as I'm still in my probation with Samsung, well maybe I'll have my bosses to thank to.....

* It was a transit flight via Singapore...I was pretty excited knowing I will at last step foot in this tiny island......

* But to my dismay, almost every hotel in this mini land was fully booked.....my company HR told me I could not claim if I check-in at Hotel81 or Hotel Fragrance.....WALAUEHHH.....

* In the end I managed to get a room at the transit hotel inside the airport....all thanks to Wong who relentlessly called for enquiries for as long as an hour....got a room for 5 hours at S$100...imagine that...crazy rate for a crazy state....my return flight isn't any different....I would proudly say I SPENT 15 HOURS IN CHANGI AIRPORT without even been to Singapore till date......

* I heard it was snowing the week before in Seoul......but Google was showing 15 degree this week....so I didn't bring much winter clothing to battle the winter....

* Upon reaching, the weather was abour 10 degree.....ever feel like blasting Google??? NOT YET...it was around 5 degree the following day &*($*^%&*(*........any being bald isn't much help either....

* That week, JD was in Ipoh...PW in Penang...while I'm in Korea.....first time seperation was pretty bad....Thank God Papa&Mama took care of JD for the entire week....how sweet.....

* My room....it was a single room suite.......hahaha GohPek...this is what I'm talking about la....not your motel.....must have requirement you know....hahahahaha

* While it was freezing and raining at night, Korean chicks roam the city in MINI SKIRTS......hot and freezing....unbelievable.....

* My agenda there was pretty routine......meeting, dinner & drinks.....meeting, dinner and drinks..........I was lucky enough to get a delayed flight on Saturday.....

* Koreans love drinking......seriously......'Mi Jio Juis Sai Yo'.......hahahaha GET ME A BEER....

* Embarking my 6 hours journey in Korea.........one of the palace........

* Flowers here and there.......pretty clean city though......

* But still.....an experience worth trying........fried my phone....haih...need a new phone now.......

The New Water Filter........

It is not easy being a dad......JD will be away for a week soon....He'll be in Ipoh with his GrandPa and GrandMa......the other lil boy that the babysitter is caring for is down with chicken pox....ishhhh such a bad timing.....it's the beginning of Papa&Mama's nightmare for a week.....

Back to the new filter, to ensure that JD has the best of everything, I've decided to install a water filter in the house.....plain water has never cost the same ever since......wonder how much mineral water I could buy with RM2.7K......I have to admit, I'm the usual victim to all these marketing scam....hahahaha

* JD anxiously waiting for the installation to be completed.......Mummy was so freaking smart by placing JD on my side of the bed.....SALIVA ALERT LAAAAA.....ish ish ishhhhh

* It comes in 3 different temperatures.....Hot, Room and COLD......I will never have to refill my cold water in the fridge ever again.....ahhhhh~~~~

* The only down side to the filter would be its bulkiness......the smaller one comes with a higher price....I will never fall to the same scam TWICE....once is bad enough...hehehe

The past week had been pretty regular....I meant it on a good way....laid back while enjoying the quality of life I'm working for....I bought myself a new water filter....that stuff better work as it doesn't come cheap.....

As I was in Sunway Mall with PW and JD, I stumbled upon an antique credit card machine while buying a massage cushion...It has been ages since I last saw one of those.....'KA CHAK KA CHAK'....

* Check it out...they'll place a receipt below the credit card and trace your credit card details to the receipt....

* And then they make you sign the transaction receipt which looks like a cheque.....

I found a nice picture in my cellphone taken a week ago.....Papa and JD taking a nap at Grandma's place.....

* JD is trained to sleep anywhere but the spring cot....it makes my life easier when I bring him around........

Remember sometimes when I joked about eating, I would order shark fin with scramble egg....and guess what....I found a place that actually sells it....I kid you not...check it out....

* The taste was a lil bit doubtful........totally over-rated.......

At the end of the day, I've decided to get myself a decent pair of sneakers.....I got a pair from Papa 7 years ago....and another from JieJie 6 years back......both of those were now in the bin....tore and battled.....

* It comes with a 40% discount tag too....totally worth it...hope it last for another 5 years or so.......Have a great work week ahead people......

You know that time flies when you're at the same yearly ritual again and again.....This week, the chinese are paying their respect to their ancestors aka All Souls' Day aka 'Ching Ming'....Papa and Mama decided to drop by....it has been more than a decade since Mama visit her daddy's grave....

* JD as usual, has no idea what was going on......for him, everyone is there to entertain him...the more the merrier.....

* Due to the traffic on Friday night, we dined at Nando's Autocity......Papa said the hot peri-peri is for kids....tasting nothing more but a lil bit too sour.....I think something is really wrong with Papa's taste bud....hhhmmmmmm

* We headed to Balik Pulau on Sunday morning.......with this kinda umbrella man on duty, we do not fear the strong sun beam no more.......

* This cousin of mine was trying to make a deal with my long gone Grandfather...."Let me win the lottery and I'll buy a roasted pig next year"......I kid you not....it was darn serious......in the end, I lost RM10 to his scheme....huhuhu..I guess Grandpa has no freaking idea who this monkey was....Grandpa has been gone for 40 years anyway......

The 1st of April....it's April Fool's day.....Andy called me out for lunch today...I gave him a stern warning.. "Do not call me and tell me you're not coming at the last minute...April Fool..I'm not actually the April Fool kinda guy...you'll die pretty ugly if you do"...Luckily the fella showed up.....

* JieJie called KitKit.....he didn't pick up. JieJie got more anxious and called Mama instead.....so 10 minutes later.

I wanted to do the same thing to Papa.....but looking at the condition of his heart, I've decided to call it off...hahahahaha better not take risk....

After being away for less than 2 months, my old team invited me for a farewell dinner of one of my old teammate.........even if it's not for me to comment, I'll still go ahead to bitch about my 2 cents based on the conversation we had during the dinner.....major discontent among my old faithful team would be the ability of a newbie taking the lead....with all due respect to old people, IT is an industry which doesn't regard old as 'Gold'.....the older you are, the more outdated you'll become....if you're at the dawn of retirement, in the world of IT, you're just as good as the dinasour in the muzeum...no point bragging about your good old days championing your agenda in DOS.....it's no longer the analog era, so wake up and face the world or forever rest in peace......

I used to fire fully loaded at the instant of injustice, but too bad being away from the industry I could no longer fend for my team......all I could do is to lend them an ear and provide comfort in my jokes......all the best guys.....faggots aside, let's talk about the dinner....

But that's not the plot I'm trying to bitch about....the major suck up would be another minister doing a major suck up.......dear Dr. Mah...you're really NIA MAHHHHH....hopeless......check out what he said....
