JD's New Hair Cut.......

We were back in Ipoh for the weekend......JD's 2nd injection....time with the Papa & Mama....JieJie couldn't make it as she is currently enjoying her vacation somewhere in China or HongKong....Come to think of it, I can't even afford a trip to Langkawi with my bank account returing echoes for the past weeks.....If my application gets through, I should be earning more soon......yeee harrr....

Alright, back to the kid.......he seems to have more hair on the side and at the back of his head.....therefore, I've decided to take him to a barber and have it sorted out.....

* I bought a book with 90% discount tag from a book fair in Ipoh.....I love reading.....hahahaha who am I kidding...I just love having them.....for display maybe.....This book talks about how people indulge in designer's coffee, spending tonnes of cash to sustain their lavish lifestyles....hmmmm sounds good to me.....another bedtime story......Long week ahead....have a great week people.....

What Do You Want in Life???

Fatherhood.....thus far the best time of my life.....It gets me thinking really hard on what do I really want for my kid....What is best for my family?? Short term, Long term, a place for JD to grow with memorable chidhood or the best arrangement......



* Another new daddy.....my old faithful client cum friend...Kenny and his mini family........


I bet most of us don't even have a slight idea on where do we wanna be in 10 years time....what do we really want in life? I've even gave a thought of migration, move to the city or even get a place in a tiny town and end my life as a teacher hahahaha....better still, get a place by the beach...sell burger for a living....

Most of us are just slaves to wages......crashing our mind with deadlines, budget, meetings, selling, planning, drafting, etc for at least 1/3 of our time in a day....spend the next 1/3 in bed and 1/3 of the time confining ourselves in our self-bought prison ranging from a few hundred thousands....it takes at least 2 keys to enter our house...some even guarded and equipped with sophisticated alarm system....doesn't that sound like prison to most of you???




* Ever thought of owing your own ranch or be a farmer for a change? No datelines, no bosses to report to, no collection to worry about etc.......and a bonus to that, you don't have to deal with those clients/colleagues whose IQ are below 40 (I have one below 20 in my list, I kid you not!)




* Or go all out to be a distinguished corporate figure......monkey suit to work everyday...8 out of 10 of the people you come across would be happy enough to see your arse on fire....Retired with memories to talk about on your success stories and die relatively rich, leaving everything to your kids......not to mention, huge percentage don't even make it pass 50....heart attack, cancer, etc....




* At least I know JD is really happy when he smiles......Sometimes I smiled for no apparent reason....or just to acknowledge a lousy joke.....faker..ishhhh....

* With this fella by my side, I know what I need to do to get what I want in life.......PW doesn't mind being a teacher either....hahahaha

* My Boy... another week before reaching his 3rd month.....

New Gadget, New Toy, New Dining......

After being a Daddy for 2 and 1/2 months, I've picked up another language....the Baby-language...how is it possible?? Let me give you some examples....did analysis on JD's cries.....check it out....I kid you not.

1. weh~ weh~ weh~
Actual meaning: Where? Where? Where?
JD is asking for his MILK...

2. Eh~ Eh~ Eh~
Actual Meaning: Air! Air! Air!
JD is discomfort. He needs to burp. Air in his tummy.

An Awesome Weekend.......

Weekends are meant for family and leisure.....it is a sin to work on a weekend....hahaha well those are my theories...after slogging for an entire 5 days.....I believe everyone needs a good weekend to recharge for the week ahead.....most of us are slaves to wages anyway.....

I started my weekend with a broad smile.......



* Daddy daddy......I wanna go shopping today.......




* I'm all ready to go.........




* We headed to Queensbay Mall for lunch, window shopping (cost cutting) & groceries......




* We could only dine at places which are stroller friendly.....This time, we were at Dragon-I....food sucked & overpriced....




* Shanghai mini dragon bun......the real version in Shanghai did the damage on my taste bud...this one was even worst......I'm not really a pork lover...

* Stir-fried noodle with beef.....I swear the main ingredient to this dish was SALT or SOY SAUCE...I think they cooked these noodles with sea water.....

* I kid you not...the meat tasted like chocolate........

* JD has been to many dinings....but yet to try any of the food there....he is still fully attached with his milk diet.....

* PW decided to have steak for dinner...but due to the cost cutting measures, the Chef would have to me ME!!!!.......

* Some olive oil and pepper would do the trick.........

* House wine material....I bet KuanLee has grew fond of this brand after those sessions we had back in year 2....when I first started with Carlo Rossi, the price was only about 2/3 the current price......the taste isn't too bad for that kind of price tag.....

* Tada.....with a huge bowl of salad to go with the steak......PERFECTO~~~

* PW said I should cook more often.....I guess she was just plain lazy......let us wait and see how her stomach will react the next day.....hehehehehe...

* As for JD, the usual napping routine.....

* My tired lil champ..............have a good work week ahead people......why can't they have 2 Saturdays in a week???...ish ish ishhhhh......

I had an outing with my bunch of colleagues not too long ago.....agenda??? Everyone wants a piece of JD.......After the tomyam-less Thai dinner recommended by GohPek, we headed to Autocity for a short gathering......Having Thai food without tomyam was like going to KFC without ordering chicken......all thanks to GohPek's ingenious idea.....

Me: erggg.....he can't speak right now.

Lady: Could you tell me the best time to call back?

Me: har....erg....can you call back 2 years later?

Lady: What???

Me: hahahaha.....He is only 2 months old.

Lady: Ohhhh.....I'm calling from Pantai Hospital bla bla bla.........

Based on my observation, I've concluded JD's daily schedule....

Cute moment: 8am - 10pm

UN-cute moment: 10pm - 8am

* JD and his 'Thinker' pose....trying to figure out how to torture me for the night....crying non stop till midnite, poo-poo in the middle of the night, demanding for a long hour chat (1 sided, I talk he'll listen), etc......

JieJie dropped by last weekend........a get-together in Prai....Since I had a meeting on that day, we only managed to meet up for a short dinner right after....
