Now Everyone Can Fly....Goodbye....

I'm now into the 6th month of my new job.....and yes, I'm no longer with the Red Army aka Allstars aka AirAsia. Time do flies......fond memories, crazy times and tonnes of air travelling.

I experienced first hand on how an actual setup is done....the scale-able one to be precised, unlike the earlier one I tried many many years ago.....from office renovation, furniture testing, hiring by the hundreds, remote operations, starting up new processes, laying off and to top it all.....I traveled so much on AirAsia flights I can remember the exact flight number by route and what songs they'll play in the flight.

* The MAN himself......he's sharp, easy-going and a little sarcastic.....

The amount of exposure I've gotten from these 2 years are indeed overwhelming in a good way of course....I guess the old lady was right after all (my ex-boss now), endure this for a couple of years, it will change you forever but what she didn't prepare me for was the enduring part which includes her.
Still I cherish the opportunity and glad to meet most of the people I met there.....a bunch of good people.....and then, surely there are a few deadwood or hopeless chaps along the way hehehe.....

Travelling has been limited to South East Asia all the time...well that's where we're operating from anyway.....it was Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, Chennai, Bangalore and a lot of the first 3....Bangkok in particular...I remember staying in Bangkok for 3 months only to fly back during the weekends....7/11 dinner....drinking with office kids in my room.......catching a cab to Mega Bangna......I survived that all thanks to the great people along the way.......my later traveling to Bangkok was better because we relocated to a more happening area...and of course special thank to my Platinum Guide buddy of mine for localizing me the right way.....

Great view, nice people and fantastic food.........

Through thick and thin............

When everything was up and running, I just felt that it was time to move on. I'm not ready to pick up a role that a 40 year old would do and slowly fade away nor do I want to grow old and grumpy like my ex-boss.......Also I gave up my time with my boys for 2 years and now it is time to make up for the lost.

Lastly.....I wish for nothing but the best for the brand.......a great time I had indeed and the utmost honor in knowing the folks there.......I'm moving into yet another genre unknown to myself......so far so good....I'm having the time of my life for now.......hoping it stays that way for years.....

Our Hero........

My younger boy is in school at last...well nursery actually.
I should be the proudest Dad ever because this is the first guy who breaks the family tradition of......"CRYING"......I have no idea about Papa (He doesn't talk much when he was that age, Grandma once told me they thought he was mute), so I would recon the trade started from me....I was emotional once.....hehehe

PW and I hid ourselves so that this lil fella has no idea that we were there. We're just trying to avoid the mistake we did with JD a couple of years back.

Note: Lots of ARROW to ease you guys from locating our Hero..... ^_^

* Looking lost.....has no idea what was going on...

* He's relatively quieter when with strangers...blessing in disguise....

* He saw someone PUKED!!!!!! kaypo-ness is in the blood......

* There you go...my Hero....he made it to Class Monitor by now.....unbelievable...

Thank you Bangladesh........

Which is worst?
1. Someone rammed his motorcycle to the back of your car.
or
2. Someone rammed his motorcycle to the back of your car minutes after you washed and polished it?

To top it all, the joker has neither a license nor an identity card.

* This is how it looks like after being sodomised

* I've decided to try out my luck after the accident

* It took me 1.5K to get the surgery done.......

On another note after evaluating for almost a year, I've decided to get PW a new car.
Luckly enough, with the right contact we managed to get the new car in about 2 weeks. Same colour and same number plate. PW called it "Little blackie" -_____-

* This will be her Xmas present for the coming decade.....

* Yeahhh....another car for me to wash......................

My Story Telling Champ.........

It has been almost exactly a year since my last post. Mind me please as I took sometime off from blogging to accommodate to the needs for my 2 year old job....soon to be ex-job.....(and yes, after 2 years with AirAsia, I'm moving on.....more time for the family soon, I hope~)

Well this post is not about my job, let's get back to the topic of the day.

A little progress on Jayden aka JD....he is 5 years old now....cheeky and very smart indeed. He has gotten himself into the Final round of the Story Telling Competition a couple of months ago at his kindie.....

PW and I took the day off to provide him with moral support. (We hid behind bushes to avoid his anxiety from seeing us in his school) And to our surprise the lil man nailed it!!!!

I'll leave the pictures to do the talking for this one....

* All ready to go as Contestant No. 1.........

* Our cry baby is crying no more..........

* A little crowd engagement..........................

* There you go......our hero...................

* With a tiny acting skill in the blood.........

* Dusted and done.............

* Best in the class...........

* And by the way JS started schooling too...........

* JS was pissed off because he is not allowed to touch the trophy

* Happy day for all....JD: I can do what I like with my prize......he DROPPED IT....

My Boys and Butterflies.........

Since this is the holiday season, we've decided to bring the boys to the butterfly farm last Sunday. We have been going back to Ipoh as diligently of late due to the impending house renovation. We're stucked in Penang over several weekends now. Mostly for vendor sourcing and buying stuff for the house. Hopefully we could make it on time for the CNY next month.........

* First stop, the dam...forgot the name of the place....

* The main event.......Butterflies......lots of them...

* JD has been waiting for this since Friday...luckily we managed to bring them here...

* JS needs a little coaxing after all his girlish yell........

* Pictures are sweet...but most of the time they are chasing the poor butterflies so that they can give them a good kick...

* Boys will be boys..........

* They are still with the Ultraman era....too much TV...

* JS with his TaiChi moves by the pond.......

* JD the butterfly hunter......

* JS the butterfly whisperer......

* It was a great day well spent nonetheless...........

Kampung Boy vs City Boy..........

Once again, I took the boys to the beach. Main reason is to exposed the boys to the nature as much as possible. JD used to dislike the beach but after a couple of attempts he seems to be loving it now. However, JS shares the same trait as his elder brother and to make it worst this lil man is so stubborn it might just take us a couple of more tries......

* He loves to throw shells into the sea......

* Enjoying the moment.........That's my boy.....

* Smiling away all morning but wait.....where is JS?????

* JS was crying away in the lil plastic isle we put him on....

* He just refused to budge....and cried "I want to go home".....

* While his Kampung boy brother was busy running around....

* A sign of hope at last...he picks.......

* He dips....................

* That's my boy.........

* Yet, by the time we decided to leave, I asked JS "Do you like it here?"....He said "NO!!!" hahaha

Tears of Joy.........

Note: Last post was 1/2 a year ago...all thank to the crazy new job of mine......

It has been over a year since we enrolled JD in the nursery. Today, all the cries, shouts, sacrifices and hard labour are paying off.
I felt the need to record this so that I can show it to my hero when he is older.
As I was dozing in my favourite bed, enjoying my sick leave, PW called and said: "Today is the prize giving ceremony in school, do you want to check it out? JD got something".
I thought it was the medication at first and had to check twice with PW before I departed from home.
True enough, I saw the trophy and waiting just like the other parents did.

* Year End Trophy Presentation @ My Little Kingdom

* While everyone was chilling, my boy was in tears...

* Still crying while waiting for his turn.......

* This scene kinda reminded of the huge award show....and to top it all...

* JD: "I'm so happy, I wanna faint,....I would like to thank my bla bla bla.....

* He did not complete the ceremony but nonetheless I'm so ever proud of my boy...
