My Boys and Butterflies.........

Since this is the holiday season, we've decided to bring the boys to the butterfly farm last Sunday. We have been going back to Ipoh as diligently of late due to the impending house renovation. We're stucked in Penang over several weekends now. Mostly for vendor sourcing and buying stuff for the house. Hopefully we could make it on time for the CNY next month.........

* First stop, the dam...forgot the name of the place....

* The main event.......Butterflies......lots of them...

* JD has been waiting for this since Friday...luckily we managed to bring them here...

* JS needs a little coaxing after all his girlish yell........

* Pictures are sweet...but most of the time they are chasing the poor butterflies so that they can give them a good kick...

* Boys will be boys..........

* They are still with the Ultraman era....too much TV...

* JS with his TaiChi moves by the pond.......

* JD the butterfly hunter......

* JS the butterfly whisperer......

* It was a great day well spent nonetheless...........

Kampung Boy vs City Boy..........

Once again, I took the boys to the beach. Main reason is to exposed the boys to the nature as much as possible. JD used to dislike the beach but after a couple of attempts he seems to be loving it now. However, JS shares the same trait as his elder brother and to make it worst this lil man is so stubborn it might just take us a couple of more tries......

* He loves to throw shells into the sea......

* Enjoying the moment.........That's my boy.....

* Smiling away all morning but wait.....where is JS?????

* JS was crying away in the lil plastic isle we put him on....

* He just refused to budge....and cried "I want to go home".....

* While his Kampung boy brother was busy running around....

* A sign of hope at last...he picks.......

* He dips....................

* That's my boy.........

* Yet, by the time we decided to leave, I asked JS "Do you like it here?"....He said "NO!!!" hahaha

Tears of Joy.........

Note: Last post was 1/2 a year ago...all thank to the crazy new job of mine......

It has been over a year since we enrolled JD in the nursery. Today, all the cries, shouts, sacrifices and hard labour are paying off.
I felt the need to record this so that I can show it to my hero when he is older.
As I was dozing in my favourite bed, enjoying my sick leave, PW called and said: "Today is the prize giving ceremony in school, do you want to check it out? JD got something".
I thought it was the medication at first and had to check twice with PW before I departed from home.
True enough, I saw the trophy and waiting just like the other parents did.

* Year End Trophy Presentation @ My Little Kingdom

* While everyone was chilling, my boy was in tears...

* Still crying while waiting for his turn.......

* This scene kinda reminded of the huge award show....and to top it all...

* JD: "I'm so happy, I wanna faint,....I would like to thank my bla bla bla.....

* He did not complete the ceremony but nonetheless I'm so ever proud of my boy...

Our Mini Trip to Taiping............

This will most probably be my first posting this year. Missed the annual resolution & the CNY posting. I'm now in a new job....this job requires me to travel a fair bit.....at least during the initial start up. I left my haven to be in hell........I thought I just needed a nudge in my career.....being too long in a comfort zone is not always a good thing....that aside...I'll find time to talk about that later....

Months ago.......yes months ago, we attended Shirley's Wedding in Taiping....we took the opportunity to hang around the town.....major attractions? The Zoo and the Muzeum......We truely believe kids should always be exposed to these kind of places........not malls and cinema at this age.......

* Always good to see the kids interested in something......

* The elephants should be the same one I saw 20 years ago.........

* Family photo at the muzeum.............

* Yet another one.........

* My boys.......my pride................

Why The Hair Cut? WHY???????

Much has been said about JD's hairstyle......due to his curlylocks we made it his trademark....moreover he has an apple-shaped head.....

I was in for a huge suprise when I picked him up last night from the babysitter's......They cut off his locks.......I went BLANKED for a moment and it follows with a huge 'WTF' moment......I remember telling them don't even think about touching that locks.....the only reasons they told me were because JD had been complaining too much about the heat and itchiness.....

Due to the seniority of the babysitters and their commitment towards my boys, I can't even scold or raise my voice for the catastrophe that they caused......I was so pissed last night I even have to yell at a pregnant lady that overtook my parking spot (under normal circumstances, I would have let her have it.....but I was pissed, remember?? as in very very freaking pissed)....I can't even remember feeling so aggitated and cannot do anything about it....

I just have to bring JD to the hair stylists....no choice, damage done.......just have to suck up to it.....What I was trying to say is, let me raise my kids, MY WAY.....coming from an open-minded family, my old folks will normally discuss with me on their ideas instead of taking matters to their own hands no matter how much they hated it..........but anyway, bygones be bygones......

* I told JD he looked really stupid with this cut.....even he was ashamed to look into the mirror.......
* Check out the damages.....
* Needed 2 experts to get the job done...........

* We only did stop once he's less ugly.........

* End product.......JD losses his GunNroses' Slash look and in return he gets the Justin Bieber style...fark I HATE JUSTIN BIEBER.....hahahaha end of story...don't bring do this again....EVER...hahaha

JD to School.....

My boy is in school now........nursery if you want to put it. Being a proud father, I was the one flashing my camera around his class. I chose to enrol him right after this 3rd birthday so that he will have 3-4 months to settle down before his actual lessons coming Dec or Jan.

Due to my personal record in 'crying'....and yes, I would have to admit that I was a crybaby back in my younger days...even Papa said I was a double dipper....when the crying stopped during kindies, it started again in my primary school.....I called this the seperation anxiety.....that's not all bad....that proves I'm spending enough quality time with my boys at home......

JD's crying problem lasted slightly over a month......not to mention his diarrhea, flu, cough etc problems he got back from school......He has been on an A+ attitude for 2 weeks now......yet another milestone in parenthood........

* Spot JD.......hehehehe looking lost...
* JD: Why am I here with these kids???

* I think afterall he realised he'll have to deal with this for many years to come...no point crying over it....

Family Trip @ Bukit Tinggi........

A month ago, JieJie decided to get us to Bt. Tinggi.......this isolated place is somewhere between Genting Highlands and a small town called Bentong (if I remember it correctly).

As isolation goes, this place is a good place for weekend chill-out. Chill-out as in no traffic, no crowd and hardly any sightings of human-being most of the time.

Being a respectable distance above the sea level, it was supposed to be cooling but somehow the weather conditions nowadays seem to be a little bit awkward so......we have normal temperature in the day and chilling at night.....

Since the objective of the trip is for us to gather and hangout together, we're all pleased with the selection of the venue......all thanks to our Master Planner aka JieJie........

Note: Blogger.com is in fault of late.......I can't load any 'portrait' pictures and that leaves me with limited pictures to share........

The boys having a hand with the rabbits......

At last JD is brave enough the feed the bunnies......

We walked quite abit during that trip.....KitKit almost make out with a tiny cobra.....hehehe

Someone has to carry this lil fella throughout the entire trip....he can't walk yet....hehehe

Notice the big bag beside JieFu......all snacks.....he's always the one with the food......

Lastly.....a family picture......next short trip....Setiawan this coming weekend......

My Boys Are Older Now.......

JD is almost 3 while JS is slightly over a year old.
Time flies when you're busy. I'm not that busy to be exact. Just could not spend time to blog that's all.
I noticed that for the last few years, my posts have not been as humorous compare to the days I started blogging.
The reasonable excuse I could use would be I'm becoming lamer now....maybe the thought of hitting '30' next year did some damage to my humor department.
That aside, let me share some updates of my pride........My Boys.......

* He is not exactly walking yet at his age.....I guess he's just lazy.....

* I turned myself bald so that I have some similar traits to this lil guy......

* JD is still very obsessed with golf

* He could now ride a bike......This guy is going to the kindie next year....

* Brotherly love......however they spend 90% of the time fighting with each other...
