Happy Birthday Papa......

Papa is 58 years young today. Last Saturday I had to rush back home to meet up with Jiejie and Jiefu. They wanted to give me a lesson in watches and they told me that the price of watches will increase from 1st of July due to the GST increasing in Spore. Jiejie wanted to get me a watch for my wedding and wouldn't want to be a victim of such illogical government scam so we stormed around Ipoh town to get the best deal.

There wasn't much store selling branded watches in Ipoh. Branded as in Rolex, Rado, Tag etc.....not swatch, adidas or what so ever sports' brands.......we went to Old Town (Not the kopitam), Jusco and the best of all Syuen Hotel. Can you believe it? To get a watch with a renowed brand you will have to go to a trade centre in a hotel..........haih...Ipoh....what a town..



* Is Jiejie gaining weight or was it my focus problem?



* As always, the experts......they're expert in Cars, Diamonds, Watches, Events, and a hell lot more.....believe me....they know everything.......




* This pasar malam-liked package of a Rolex is actually worth RM34,000.00......OMFG......sell off my car also cannot buy......




* I went for a more reasonable one.....since I am not paying for it, so the price is not my concern....hehehe I got myself a Tag......RM3.8k with some discount of course......



But anyway, can't really show you guys the watch. Jiejie said she will only give it to me on the day of the wedding. She doesn't wanna look empty handed in front of the relatives on that day......after concluding the purchase, we headed home to have a nice homely dinner prepared by our chef whom always cooks with her heart......Mama...

* Celebrated Papa's birthday earlier along with MengWai's belated birthday.......

After the dinner, we did what most Ipoh folks usually do on the very same weekend. We attended an Expo organized by......Dunno who, and inconjunction with.......Dunno what....as long as there's alot of people around and free of any cover charge, we will be there that's for sure.......abit KAYPO la.....

* Can't read Chinese so don't really know what the Expo is all about....

* Who in the world is Jimmy Chia by the way? Jimmy Choo I know la.......

* As usual, my experts doing survey for my wedding photos.....


Just a thought that I had for a very long time. To spend several grand just to take those wedding pictures taken is such a waste......just imagine, when will any wed-couple reopen their wedding album for a glance? Anyone of you did that after your marriage? Let me enlighten you as to when the wedding album will be REOPEN. It will be most probably be opened by your wife after a heavy quarrel. She will look at those pictures taken years before and cry even more. After all those drama then the album will go back to where it belongs......STORE ROOM....so you think its worth it??? (Hopefully PW can skip this paragraph and still leave me in one piece). All those preparations make me broke........I blame it on the custom.....Screw all those WongFeiHong who came out with such ridiculous wedding custom......I will elaborate more after next month where all my hard earned money gone to.......
