Took a flight at one of the lousiest airport I've ever stepped foot on......my virgin flight with a low cost carrier...JieJie told me to get ready to run as there will be no seating allocated. She was RIGHT!!!......and JieJie said the only thing you're ever gonna do when you're on the flight is to PRAY!!!! Once again...she was right....hahahaha



* As I was checking in my luggage, getting my boarding pass, cocking around the airport, I saw...................

* OVERWEIGHT.....KNS....not even there yet....just about to depart also kena!!! Too embarassed to try out JieFu's flying tips......ask the counter to wait...go to the restroom and put on as many clothes and pants as possible from your luggage bag....then weight again...

* Right after checking in, Nicus and I groomed ourself and went out for a stroll to the city....so-called partial vacation....

CNY Prayer & Valentine........

On the 9th night of the Lunar New Year, the Hokkiens will pray to the heavenly Gods which they believe saved them from a massacre many years before. From my years of participations in the event, I was told that the Hokkiens hid themselves in the sugarcane plantation at times when they were hunted by the army (don't ask me why were they hunted). So....when they got out unharmed on the 9th day of the Lunar New Year everything was back to normal (Don't ask me for details)......For a more precise version of the story, please refer to the INTERNET or a more reliable source.......

Being a hokkien myself, I attended the prayer almost every year at Grandma's..........

It was Valentine's Day the very same date this year. I told PW I will be bringing her to a party.....hehehe....got roasted chicken, roasted duck & roasted pig on the menu....romantic enough? hehehe.....

Everything has been commercialized for this money wasting day. If you plan to go out for a dinner with your girl, get ready to pay more. The prices for flowers were exaggerated..... chocolates really do kill.....for the price that you'll be paying.....stupid stupid commercialization........

My CNY - Part 2........

After the hectic schedule in Penang, everyone headed back to Ipoh to celebrate the 2nd part of Chinese New Year.......while the rest of the family was getting ready for the reunion dinner at home, some were busy cam whoring and mending their own business....



* KitKit and JieJie cam whoring while everyone was busy preparing....ishhhh......What bout me?? I was doing something really useful while some were busy killing time......I WAS SNAPPING PICTURES!!!!! Useful enough???

My CNY - Part 1......

Gong Xi, Gong Xi, Gong Xi Ni.....Happy Chinese New Year peps......took a long break and now I'm back....been busy as usual for CNY as I am current residing in Penang. Being the regular family driver my route for every CNY would be from Penang-Ipoh-Penang-Ipoh-Penang within a span of less than a week. Next year will be a lil' different looking on several upcoming events soon.....okay enough of babbling around, let me elaborate on what I did this new year.....




* Reunion dinner on the eve of CNY at godgrandpa & grandma's place......the chef as usual = my god-grandpa.....wonderful meal.......




* New Year Eve.....MAHJONG with Papa and KitKit.......




* As my luck hits topform.....long awaited combination......YEAH!!!! POW ARR POW!!!!!!!

* Drove to BalikPulau on the 1st day of CNY......GRANDMA's place....JieJie will be joining us on the 1st day as well this year........love being here every new year......
